Debugging Tips

We have several event logs that are very helpful in debugging Insights issues:
  1. The "Event Log" is the log of all identified events coming into the system. You can see the event log from Insights->"Event Log". In the Event Log you can drill down to specific events and see event attributes and mail merge values. 
  2. The "Subscriber Event Details" can be accessed from the Subscribers tab. Find a subscriber and click the "View Full Event History" link. Here you can see all the events that a Subscriber has done.
  3. The "Workflow Log" is useful to debug the behavior of a workflow. This can be accessed from the Insights->Workflows section. Click on the gear for a specific workflow and you click "Log". Here you can see what has happened during each "execution" of a workflow.
